It certainly did. I bought the album as a kid for the very same reason [if Wakeman & Emerson were the reasons why a became a keyboard player, Howe was the sole reason why I became an amateur guitarist].

I bought the album as a kid because of Steve Howe. I did like it, but the Yes albums hit the turntable a bit more often, and I never picked up a CD (or mp3) version when I made the switch in the late 80s… not sure if one ever existed!
