Seen/hearing Koyaanisqatsi at a very young age was a mind blowing experience which immediately got me into minimal music. I was already &quot;experimenting&quot; with minimal forms myself since my early teens - a naive slogan I coined back then was &quot;&lt;em&gt;repetition leads to ecstasy&lt;/em&gt;&quot;. 
I think Riley, like Adams, is an outstanding composer inside and outside the &quot;minimal&quot; idiom.]]></description>
