Only Janis has my idolization.
I have all of her few recordings available. I own Kozmic Blues, and I think it is largely ignored in the face of Pearl. Even Big Brother and the Holding Company has been somewhat back burnered by Pearl.
She sang her guts out for us.
I betray my age by saying that II saw her live. Yes, I was very young. She headlined. The Grateful Dead were before her.
