Ooo! That sounds interesting. The Trautonium? Looking forward!
David McLey was a kind of genius. He has narcolepsy, and sometimes I would see him at a party, dozed off, holding his drink. 1 minutes later her would wake up, and was normal.
I don't know about songs, but I know there were mutual musician friends who were composing with it.
I should ask Norm.
OH, Norm is trying to sell his old Mackie mixing board. He bought it from the band RUSH. They made their last 1 or 2 albums on it. The band signed it...... Geddy, Alex, etc. it looks like in silver.

Sure! it didn't make it on the market because it was Fairlight time - back in the early '80s. The guy must be brilliant! I know about a considerable amount of odd electronic keybpards - I even wrote articles about them in the past. I also have peculiar recordings [not with McLeyvier - dunno if there are any] planning to make some posts of them in the future. I will start with my favorite one, the ...Trautonium!
Thank you!

The Synclavier got me thinking about the McLeyvier. It was unveiled in 1981, by David McLey, a friend . It was to be the next big thing in Synths. Tech was changing fast, and it got stuck in the middle. It was something in its time. Just wondering if you ever heard of it?
