Υπήρξε δάσκαλος και μέντορας του Benjamin Britten ο οποίος είχε σε μεγάλη εκτίμηση το έργο του. On this date, February 26, 1879, the esteemed composer, conductor and soloist of viola, Frank Bridge, was born. He was a teacher and mentor to Benjamin Britten who had a great appreciation for his work. Like several other British composers’, Bridge’s music was rediscovered around the end of the 20th century, having mostly stayed out of the modernist currents of its time.
