Philip Glass came up with the idea of composing a Symphony based on the themes from David Bowie’s album “Heroes”, and the result was amazing.
He ‘d already done the same with the album “Low” by the same artist.
Several classical composers through the centuries have used popular songs as an inspiration for their symphonic work! Thanks for sharing!
