It was not one of the “hits” of the album, although it has always been one of my favorites.
But perhaps ‘no airplay’ shouldn’t come as a big surprise. After all, the famous ‘Roe V Wade’ Low about which there’s so much debate these days, comes from 1973.

Doesn’t seem to be in favor of abortion. I had a friend who got a woman pregnant, gave her money for an abortion. He skedaddled and never saw her again. However, 20 years later his son, who she didn’t abort, came knocking on my friends door. His not aborted son was one really handsome, smart and well mannered young man.
