In reply to Resa. I like the noise in the old recordings too. If the sound of the music is clear, I prefer the original from the cleaned up version. There 's something "claustrophobically" artificial there, because they're taking the atmosphere out.

So real! Feels perfect! Thank you! I just love old recordings. Norm and I got into a big discussion about how they clean up old recordings. I mean unless you have the platter and a player, you get a cleaned up version. Me, I like the noise on old recordings. This sounds cleaned up, but not remixed. Norm says cleaning up is okay, but remixing is like colourizing an old B&W film.
