I actually did see Jeff Beck in performance in the later 70’s, in Vancouver. He played this song. He had a vocorder. I don’t know who played with him.
I spent about a month in Hamilton working on a low budget horror film in the late 80’s. Carmine was in it. Lol.
When we did the performance parts, he would play his drums always between scenes. What a treat. 7 am… Carmine on drums.
Hamilton is Steel Town here. Heavy rock was a mainstay there. Everyone knew who Carmine was & lined up to meet him everywhere we went, even in the hallway of the hotel.
He hung in my room a lot, to get away from the throng. We had some fab conversations. I totally adore him.

Το είδα, αξιοπρεπέστατο είναι – αυτό έλειπε να μην ήτανε δηλ. με τον κωλόγερο από δίπλα.
Ο “έτσι” ψιλοfake μεν, αλλά αυτό είναι δεδομένο κατ’ εμέ, ούτως ή άλλως, για την πλειονότητα των rock’n’roll performers / performances. Από μια εποχή και μετά τουλάχιστον.
Προτιμώ να τον βλέπω ως ροκ τραγουδιστή παρά ως πειρατή ας πούμε. Θα το ανεβάσω κιόλας εν ευθέτω. Thanks!

Πιστεύω ότι και για σένα ισχύει αυτό : οι συμπάθειες και οι αντιπάθειές μου, πλην ελαχίστων εξαιρέσεων, βρίσκονται πάντα υπό αίρεση. Ούτε και υπάρχει περίπτωση, εννοείται, ο εν λόγω να μην έχει μια αυθεντική αγάπη για ανθρώπους όπως ο Beck, ο Richards και οι υπόλοιποι.
Δεν έχω καμιά εικόνα, να πω κι εγώ την αμαρτία μου, των μουσικών του εντρυφήσεων, και είμαι πάντα έτοιμος για ένα ευχάριστο ξάφνιασμα. Αυτό που είναι δύσκολο, έως και αδύνατο, είναι το δυσάρεστο… 😊 Και δεν αναφέρομαι στον JD.
