In one of our songs, “Star With No Name”, some 10 years ago, there is a lyric: “what keeps us close must keep us separated, virtual eremites in intensive care” [check the the song here https://oannes.gr/mk-o-star-with-no-name-blues-for-the-white-nr-2011/%5D.
The song, and the album [Blues For The White Nigger] was about the way the Internet is designed for bringing down society, operating as a virtual ghetto and turning the entire population into ‘ghetto niggers’.
So that’s what I believe is happening. The “coronavirus pandemic” is the next step: a hoax through which the culture of virtual is now been “diffused” to the real world. The distancing, the mask thing, staying indoors [communicating, learning, working etc via Skype], are just virtual reality triumphing over life itself.
They’re turning us to ‘digital’ entities, much easier to be ‘merged’ with the Machine, in the context of the coming ‘Singularity’.

Προσωπικά να σου πω απεχθάνομαι τόσο πολύ την ιδέα του τουρισμού που έφτασα πρόσφατα σε σημείο να επικαλεστώ ακόμα και τον κίνδυνο του κορωνοϊού μπας και γλιτώσω τις ολιγοήμερες “διακοπές” που πηγαίνω μια στις τόσες αποκλειστικά και μόνο για χάρη της γυναίκας μου. Δυστυχώς ή ευτυχώς δε φαίνεται να με πίστεψε κανένας..

Γενικά όλη αυτή η ιστορία με την “βαρειά βιομηχανία της χώρας” που είναι ο τουρισμός, μου φαινόταν πάντα τελείως νοσηρή και αντιπαραγωγική. Και αιτία μυρίων δεινών.
Δεν θα ξεχάσω την εικόνα που ειχα δει στη Μύκονο, προ εικοσιπενατετίας, στην πρώτη και μοναδική φορά που πέρασα απο κει, τους δυο “γραφικούς μαγαζάτορες” να τσακώνονται στεντορεία φωνή εν μέση οδώ, δίνοντας εν πλήρει επιγνώσει σόου “αυθεντικής ελληνικής χωριατιάς” στους βλαχοτουρίστες που “απολάμβαναν” χασκογελώντας.
