I started hating journalists when I was 11 after they totally twisted the facts and misreported a murder I had firsthand knowledge of. When I was promoting bicycle races in the 80s and 90s, I would be interviewed by journalists and they always reported opposite of what I said trying to stir up trouble between the cycling community, motorists and the police.

Always hated journalists. I began hating them even more when I became one.
Of course there’s difference between “political” and “cultural” journalism [my field] but not THAT big in terms of people themselves.
